Redefining Polygamy

Coach Lucas Ramagadi Matjiane is a self-proclaimed Leader who believes that he has the purpose and responsibility to lead people from different walks of life out of the poor mindsets that are taking people backward instead of moving forward.

He discovered this in him many years ago, when at the age 11 he got the opportunity to join the Boy Scouts where he became the Patrol and the Troop Leader, and later the acting Scout Master when the Scout Master took a study leave for roughly two years.

Hailing from a village called Mathibestad in Hammanskraal, Coach Lucas Ramagadi Matjiane is a Mathematics teacher and a lecturer by profession.

He started working back in 1988 as a freelancing Radio Presenter, just after doing his matric in 1987, doing youth musical programs at the former Radio Setswana Stereo in Silverton, Pretoria.

From being a Radio Presenter, he moved to being a High School Teacher after graduating in 1991, and then a College Lecturer, a School Change Facilitator, a Senior Education Specialist and later a Deputy Chief Education Specialist at Gauteng Department of Education where he was granted the opportunity to participate as a curriculum writer for the FET Colleges currently known as TVET colleges.

Coach Lucas decided to leave Government employment back in 2011 to follow his dream of being a serial entrepreneur.

He wrote and published two books called:
KICK THAT POVERT OUT, a book he wrote during his brief visit in Holland, the Netherlands And

BEFORE YOU EXIT SCHOOL, a book that is raising awareness in young people that there is a lot they need to know of before exiting school, because that piece of paper called a degree or diploma is NOT a guarantee that they will be successful in their lives, especially because we are living in a country that has so many highly educated but poor people,

Two more of his books are being written and are in the process of being published, namely:

LIVING THE DREAM WITH CRYPTO-CURRENCIES

And
REDEFINING POLYGAMY, a book that is underpinning today’s lecture.

Coach Lucas Ramagadi Matjiane is a Life and Success Coach, a Public Speaker and an Author who is also a manager of his own Guesthouse, a Detergents Manufacturer, a Perfume-preneur; and a Poultry- preneur who believes that nothing is impossible.

He also agrees with T. Harv Eker who once said “Nothing (in life) has meaning except for the meaning you give it.”
