Joe Lister Mabuela, a Mentor, Executive Coach, and lead Pastor at the Faith Community Sanctuary Church – Kagiso, was born and raised in Meadowlands, Soweto, South Africa, where he completed his primary and high school education in the year 1982. He Attained his Theology Diploma at The Central Bible College, Pretoria, South Africa.

Joe is a licensed Marriage Officer, and a Relationship Coach married to Ntombizodwa (Zoe). Together they are blessed with two children, Onkgopotse and Tlangelani Pearl, and one adopted daughter, Palesa Kokoi.
He moved to Kagiso, Mogale City in 1986 to serve the spiritual and social needs of the community, under the auspices of the Apostolic Faith Mission denomination.

Joe also possesses, amongst others, certificates and Diplomas in Mediation and Conflict Resolution; Music Theory; Project Management; Writing Skills; Leadership, and Church Health. He attained his doctoral degree at Logos University, Jacksonville Florida, USA. His dissertation topic was “The role of transformational leadership in effecting service delivery in a Mogale city”.

He is an accredited Assessor and Skills Facilitator with the ETDP-SETA. He attained this qualification through The Matthew Goniwe School of Leadership and Governance, Johannesburg, SA. He is also a School Governance specialist who conducts training and empowerment workshops for School governors and managers within the Gauteng Department of Education. He has served as Chairperson of the Randfontein Primary School for Six years, and is currently serving as chairperson of the Randfontein High, which is the first school to pilot e-Learning and ICT within the District (and the second in the Province).

Joe is a prolific Writer and Editor that has authored five manuals, three books, and numerous articles. He has edited a number of publications of other Authors. He is also a song writer and gospel music composer.

Joe travels intensively (locally and internationally) conducting Leadership development seminars and public speaking. He is the residing Overseer over a number of local churches and Pastors under the banner of The Restoration Ministries Alliance (RMA).

He is a community activist who has dedicated his life to empower the disadvantaged. He has served in boards of several NGOs. He currently serves in the boards of the I CAN FOUNDATION, The GLOBAL LEADERSHIP NETWORK, and UBUMBANO COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT.

He is a special Advisor to the Mayor of Mogale City on academics and religious matters.
He currently resides in the West Rand, South Africa.
